| Charles was elected into a Director position of the Oklahoma USBC State Association. His position will be up for re-election in 2009. He also currently holds the position of President of the Tulsa Area USBC Association. Charles is the Chairman of the Coaches Committee. USBC National Headquarters has selected the State of Oklahoma as a test state to hold either a bronze or silver level coaches class, a Bowl with the Pros Day, and a class of Instructions with certified instructors. Charles has bowled for 26 years in the Tulsa Area. He has been Secretary of leagues for 24 years; currently night "Survivor's League" at Sheridan Lanes and Wednesday night "Hits & Misses League" at Broken Arrow Lanes. He enjoys being the team captain for 2 teams that travel to Nationals each year. "We have a great time whether we bowl good or bad." |
| Charles' goals as a Board member is " to serve the bowlers of Oklahoma to the best of my ability." ~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of Charles' most important aspects of his bowling service is in coaching the Broken Arrow High School Boys Team. On Feb 17, 2007 in Regional High School competition at AMF Sheridan Lanes in Tulsa, the 2007 high school team bowled the 1st Baker 300 game in the state of Oklahoma! This team has also won the State titles in 2003 & 2005. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I have made many friends with a lot of people over these many years of bowling and I bowl with some great friends on a tournament team called Strike Force BA. We have been together for about 10 years and have finished 2nd in the State tournament 3 times." |
